Day 1 – Cape Town to Oudtshoorn – Journey into the Heart of the Little Karoo: Cango Caves & Ostrich Farm Exploration”
Your adventure begins as our representative meets you at your hotel in Cape Town, where you’ll embark on a scenic journey to the charming town of Oudtshoorn, nestled in the heart of the Little Karoo. Known as the “Ostrich Capital of the World,” this region is not only famous for its feathered residents but also for being part of South Africa’s longest wine route.
In the afternoon, your journey continues with a guided adventure tour of the Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. Marvel at the intricate limestone formations as you explore this fascinating underground world.
As the day draws to a close, you’ll head to your overnight accommodation at De Zee Koe Guest Farm, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures in the serene countryside of Oudtshoorn.

Day 2 – Oudtshoorn – Meerkat Tour, Game Drive & Wine / Gin Tasting
Start your day with an early morning excursion to observe the charming meerkats in their natural habitat. Afterward, return to enjoy a delightful breakfast. Following breakfast, embark on a captivating 3 to 4-hour game drive, where you’ll encounter a variety of buck species like zebra, eland, and kudu, along with diverse birdlife and other small wildlife on the reserve. Conclude your day with a wine tasting at a premier wine estate or indulge in a gin tasting experience.

Day 3 – Oudtshoorn to Plettenberg/Knysna – Elephant National Park & Monkeyland

Continue your adventure at Monkeyland, a sanctuary where you’ll explore the vibrant world of primates in a free-roaming environment.

Day 4 – Explore Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve
After breakfast, our representative will meet you at the hotel to begin your journey to the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, a captivating destination known for its dramatic coastal scenery, lush forests, and delicate fynbos. This region, forming the northern section of the magnificent Garden Route National Park, is a paradise for hiking and water sports enthusiasts. Marvel at the powerful breakers of the Indian Ocean as they crash against rocky shores, and witness the temperate high forests and rolling fynbos sweeping down to the sea like a verdant carpet. Explore ancient rivers carving their way to the ocean, and keep an eye out for the diverse marine life along the shore.

Day 5 – Discover the Big 5 at Plettenberg Game Reserve
After breakfast, our representative will meet you at the hotel to start your adventure at Plettenberg Game Reserve, home to all of the Big 5 in their natural habitat. During your visit, you’ll also encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including various antelope species, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and crocodiles. Situated on over 2,200 hectares in the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, Plett Game Reserve is one of the few safari camps on the Southern Cape coastline, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience.
